Kraft’s expertise is in distribution and logistics, supply chain management and sustainable operations. His research focuses on the impact of environmental and social responsibility issues on supply chain management decisions. Topics he has worked on include firms’ and non-governmental organizations’ decisions regarding potentially hazardous substances in product lines, developing collaborative methods to improve the management of chemicals and toxic substances in supply chains, and improving transparency in supply chains with regards to social responsibility practices.
Kraft teaches operations management in the first year residential MBA program as well as in the Darden/Curry Partnership for Leaders in Education executive program. Prior to joining the Darden faculty, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and RadioShack Corporation as a supply chain consultant and manager.
