Rodriguez is an economist who specializes in the study of international business and trade and economic development, with an emphasis on understanding and combating corruption. He is also an expert in the field of entrepreneurship in emerging markets. His duties as chief diversity officer are to encourage the study and acceptance of diversity in business, at a school that prides itself on its commitment to diversity.
His research publications include explorations of international trade policies and firm behavior and of issues in international business and management. He also worked for several years as an associate in the Global Energy Group at JPMorgan Chase and with the AES Corporation, Harris Corporation, Rolls-Royce and Visa.
